Cohiba communications is owned by Corey Van’t Haaff.

Corey Van’t Haaff has written hundreds of magazine articles and has broadcast her work nationally on CBC Radio. Her expertise includes business and investment, medicine, health and safety, technology, interior design, natural resource management, tourism, hospitality, dogs and consumer issues. She has written articles for business readers, investors, government, physicians, nurses, employers and employees, visitors and travelers, parents, non-profits and the general public.

In addition to her work as a journalist, Corey is currently the Federal Returning Officer for Port Moody-Westwood-Port Coquitlam. She is a member of the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal, an independent quasi-judicial agency established to determine appeals of Ministry of Human Resource decisions. She sits on the Enquiry Committee of the BC Veterinary Medical Association, hearing disciplinary matters. She is also a visiting hospice volunteer. From 1990 to 1998, she was the Executive Director of the Federation of BC Writers. Corey lives in Port Coquitlam in an old house with several not-so-old dogs.
